Shingles and Chickenpox

Herpes zoster virus is the same virus as chickenpox. For people who have had chickenpox, the virus still lurks in the spinal nerves. When the body's resistance is low, the chickenpox virus becomes active and attacks the body's immune system, causing snakebites. The virus spreads out in circles, affecting other parts of the body in addition to the waist. However, if you have not had chickenpox, you will not get snakes.

Snake snakes are more common in adults. Most of them suffer from pressure cookers or poor immune systems. They will have band-like red blisters, itching and pain on the body. If a snake is born once, it will appear a second time. Elderly people are more susceptible to snake bites. The ingredients of the currently used "snake shots" are similar to those of chickenpox shots. Since the concentration of snake needle antigens is higher, it can improve protection. People aged 50 or above may consider taking the injections.
